Private Site Will Provide Secure Internet Delivery of Lab Test Results

Monroe, Mich., February 5, 2000 - Hilgraeve, Inc., a leading provider of Internet communications solutions, announced today that Labtest.com will use one of its private HyperSend Web sites to securely deliver online lab test results. The HyperSend private site will provide Labtest.com with the ability to integrate secure messaging with their Web site, for the exchange of sensitive information with clients. The secure online transmission of patient data is paramount in today’s healthcare environment with HIPAA compliance requirements looming on the horizon.

Hilgraeve’s privately branded HyperSend Web sites enable Internet users to exchange information securely with anyone in the world, using just a Web browser. Like Hilgraeve’s other HyperSend products, private HyperSend Web sites feature powerful capabilities that enable healthcare providers to securely exchange files automatically – such as the distribution or collection of reports, financial information, or confidential patient data – even among unattended computers.

The second hosting option is for customers whose policies require that their information be hosted on separate servers, rather than on servers shared by other companies. In this case, Hilgraeve operates physically separate servers for the customer. This provides customers with secure messaging services integrated with their own Web sites, but maintained and operated by Hilgraeve for quick implementation, low cost and ease of maintenance.
