Partnership provides HIPAA ready identity authentication, encryption with digital certificates and secure messaging with e-signatures

Monroe, Mich., February 5, 2000 - Digital Signature Trust Co. (DST), one of the world’s premier providers of online identification solutions for secure communications and an affiliate of Zions Bancorporation (Nasdaq – ZION), and Hilgraeve, Inc., a long-time leader in data communications software, announced a partnership today that provides a HIPAA ready, end-to-end digital document signing and delivery solution.

By combining the American Bankers Association sponsored TrustID® digital certificates ¾ exclusively operated by DST, with Hilgraeve’s HyperSend™ product, the two companies provide a HIPAA ready document delivery solution that allows healthcare providers to securely sign, send and receive health information documents and other patient data. By using their existing e-mail addresses from any computer with Internet access, users are able to sign digital documents in any format, such as Word or Excel, and verify the signature on an ongoing basis.
