Hilgraeve, Inc. Joins Compaq Solutions Alliance
Alliance will provide healthcare Compaq users with a secure easy-to-use Internet delivery service

Monroe, Mich., February 5, 2000 - Hilgraeve, Inc., a long-time leader in data communications software, announced today it has joined the Compaq Solutions Alliance. The alliance will make Hilgraeve’s secure Internet delivery service, called HyperSend, available to healthcare users of Compaq equipment. The secure online transmission of patient data is paramount in today’s healthcare environment with HIPAA compliance requirements looming on the horizon.

HyperSend is a Web-based system that enables Internet users to exchange sensitive information securely with anyone in the world, through a Web browser. HyperSend also features powerful capabilities that give healthcare organizations the ability to exchange patient data automatically – even among unattended computers. HyperSend requires virtually no training, doesn’t require maintenance by an IT staff, and can be quickly implemented.
